@corney, Nice summary.
Why do you have reservations about the judgement?

I'm probably a "big apostate" if I think these letters have something to do with the Trial In Finland
where the watchtower has lost???
It's a direct result. The principles from the Finnish case apply in all of Europe.

Will there be any encouraging experiences?
Yes. First because half of them are probably made up anyway.
Second because they more often than not contain no information that points to a specific individual (e.g. 'Andre preached at school blabla' doesn't identify which of the millions of Andres in the world the story is about)
Third because those who relate their own experience on stage supposedly consent to themselves sharing personal data about themselves.

@blondie:
Apparantly Zimbabwe is a lawless hellhole when it comes to privacy and data protection. So it may very well be that WT just want to 'keep unity' and apply the no records policy everywhere?
There are no specific provisions for the collectors of personal data to obtain the prior approval of data subjects for the processing of their personal data.

What's the difference between Zimbabwe and USA? They're both not part of EU, both not within GDPR jurisdiction.... -

Awesome. Even more countries where field service will be even more useless than ever before!

Presumably they have sent letters to foreign language congregations to explain how on earth this is supposed to work.
The letter states that when two congregations work in the same territory the service overseers must come to a mutually acceptable agreement on how to proceed.
Normally native language congregations don't work in the same territory. Only foreign language congregations work in the same territory as other congregations.
In other words, this letter tells foreign language congregations to see for themselves how they're gonna proceed without foreign language territory maps....

Welcome to that precious feeling of control and social pressure. If you may think this may an incident and that specific JW is an exception, you'd be wrong.
JW will formally and informally check on you whatever you do, and pressure you do adhere to Watchtower rules, and be more and more and more involved in their
cultreligion. This will not stop after joining, it will only become worse.I did everything right
If you mean you followed Watchtower rules then yes, you already submitted yourself to people as if you are under their authority and you're accountable to them.
Otherwise, getting involved with a high control group is 'doing everything right' if you value your free will, independence, agency and thinking for yourself.

How many congregations were diligent in chasing up not homes , anyway?
I know my congregation was at times. The best thing about NAH is that when you do them, it's more walking and looking at your paper than knocking doors.
Now only knocking doors will be left. Almost no way to build a 'magazine route' anymore (not that there were any magazines to route). No more slow walking and searching for that next not at home on your list. Just door to door grinding and cult carts. Makes field service even worse than it was.
